This person is angry!!!!
Wish I was the one that sent this to the beloved Senator!!!! There isn't a word that is false and I am believing that many Americans are beginning tothink along these same lines......Senator lan (Alan) Simpson Calls Seniors 'Greediest Generation'...From a man in Montana....who - like the rest of us - has just about had enough, Hey Alan, Let’s get a few things straight…
1. As a career politician, you have been on the public dole for FIFTY YEARS…
2. I have been paying Social Security taxes for 48 YEARS (since I was 15 years old. I am now 63)…
3. My Social Security payments, and those of millions of other Americans, were safely tucked away in an interest bearing account for decades until you political pukes decided to raid the account and give OUR money to a bunch of zero ambition losers in return for votes, thus bankrupting the system and turning Social Security into a Ponzi scheme that would have made Bernie Madoff proud…
4. Recently, just like Lucy & Charlie Brown, you and your ilk pulled the proverbial football away from millions of American seniors nearing retirement and moved the goalposts for full retirement from age 65 to age 67. NOW, you and your shill commission is proposing to move the goalposts YET AGAIN…
5. I, and millions of other Americans, have been paying into Medicare from Day One, and now you morons propose to change the rules of the game. Why? Because you idiots mismanaged other parts of the economy to such an extent that you need to steal money from Medicare to pay the bills…
6. I, and millions of other Americans, have been paying income taxes our entire lives, and now you propose to increase our taxes yet again. Why? Because you incompetent bastards spent our money so profligately that you just kept on spending even after you ran out of money. Now, you come to the American taxpayers and say you need more to pay off YOUR debt… To add insult to injury, you label us “greedy” for calling “bullshit” on your incompetence. Well, Captain Bullshit, I have a few questions for YOU…
1. How much money have you earned from the American taxpayers during your pathetic 50-year political career?
2. At what age did you retire from your pathetic political career, and how much are you receiving in annual retirement benefits from the American taxpayers?
3. How much do you pay for YOUR government provided health insurance?
4. What cuts in YOUR retirement and healthcare benefits are you proposing in your disgusting deficit reduction proposal, or, as usual, have you exempted yourself and your political cronies?
It is you, Captain Bullxxxx, and your political co-conspirators who are “greedy”. It is you and they who have bankrupted America and stolen the American dream from millions of loyal, patriotic taxpayers. And for what? Votes. That’s right, sir. You and yours have bankrupted America for the sole purpose of advancing your pathetic political careers. You know it, we know it, and you know that we know it. And you can take that to the bank, you miserable son of a bxxxx.

Happy New Year!!
A Happy and Prosperous New Year for all. How did it fly by so fast?
Happy Birthday to my nieces - surely they are not 40 and 38, they were only 20 and 18 year before last. No matter their age, and age doesn't matter, they are both beautiful inside and out and I would like to add they have raised beautiful families.
Tomorrow will be back to work with more challenges and opportunities.
My number 1 Toon will be back to his job as "Go Getter", you know, go get her for lunch, go get her cleaning, go get her at 5:30 and on Friday, go get her check. He is great, I would not have it any other way, I could not live without my "Go Getter". He is an answer to my every prayer.
The Texas pollution has gotten to us but it hasn't gotten us down, tho it feels like barb wire in our chests we will be well before we go back for more of the Wild Wild West. - ***

Count Down to Texas
Our goal for "Texas or Bust" seems to be in sight. I feel like I can even start making a moving plan. Praying for no obstacles nor set backs. We love our home here and my job is great but I must say "There is just no place like home!"
Christmas holidays in our big state seemed oh so short, never enough time to visit everyone we want to see, shop all the shops that need to be shopped nor eat at all the restaurants that need to be tried.
This time we did not meet our quota for Mexican food, we must come back in January.
We were able to meet goals of visiting long time friends and share so many wonderful stories of our past as well as catch up on each other's children and even grandchildren! It is hard to believe that we are THAT old, how did that happen?
We were able to carry rain to Texas and leave Texas with it still raining, any time yall need more just let us know, we will drive back for the day!
Our prayer for the balance of this old year 2006 and the New Year 2007 is that my favorite sister, husband and friends will get safely home from New Mexico.
Hope you all have a Prosperous and Blessed New Year! -- the Toons
